We also provide a comprehensive range of engineering services related to cathodic protection. We have the experience, personnel and equipment needed to rapidly respond and solve corrosion problems. Farwest can undertake an entire installation project including the acquisition of construction and drilling permits, insuring a timely date of completion.

We service the entire Western United States from our three California locations in Gardena (Los Angeles), Bakersfield and Hayward. We have a C-10 Electrical license, a C-57 Drilling license, and a Class A General Engineering license, all from the State of California. We are also licensed in the adjoining states of Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. We own and operate our own drilling and installation and equipment, including four deep anode drilling rigs and one hollow stem auger rig complete with our own installation crews and all necessary tools and peripheral equipment.

Our scope of cathodic protection system installations and construction services include:
  • Deep & Conventional Anode Groundbed Installation
  • Fresh Water Tank Systems
  • Oil Field Vessel Systems
  • Groundbed Relocation & Repair
  • Deep Anode Abandonment
  • Sacrificial Anode Systems
  • Deep Anode Grounding Systems

Your first point of contact for installation services is Dan McGrew, Construction Manager. Dan's responsibilities include construction estimates, contract negotiations and department oversight. The daily installation work is scheduled and overseen by our Construction Superintendent, Robert Taylor in Gardena or by our Construction Supervisors, Eric Behncke in Bakersfield and Brice Sandhagen in Hayward. Our Construction Administrator, Chris Emerson, can assist you with billing and other administrative needs.

We are proud of our hard earned reputation and of the cathodic protection systems we install. We are confident in the abilities of our installation department to meet the needs and standards of you, our customer.
