Cathod-o-Flex^® and Trace-o-Flex

Cathod-o-Flex and Trace-o-Flex Test Station Markers combine the high performance of Carsonite Utility maker with a convenient, integral twin-terminal design. This design has been tested and proven successful in field use for more than 10 years.

Cathod-o-Flex is a two-terminal cathodic protection test station. Its unique composition and design provide a flexible, impact resistant post that serves as a test station and pipeline marker all in one.

Trace-o-Flex is a high visibility marker and terminal point for locating non-metallic pipelines. Two terminal access provides for either secondary trace capabilities or dual tracing configuration. Special Cathod-o-Flex and Trace-o-Flex introductory kits are available.

Perma-Post^® Test Stations

The Carsonite Perma-Post Test Station is used in conjunction with the Perma-Post Marker to provide a test access point for underground cathodic protection or cable tracing applications. Cathodic test units come equipped with a standard 11-hole terminal board. Telecom test units are equipped with a 6-hole terminal board and bus bar.

All terminal hardware is supplied, allowing complete custom fitting of terminal points. Composite terminal housing fits flush with Perma-Post Marker, concealing the terminal board. This reduces the probability of vandalism and lost hardware. Pre-attached composite anchors are available for use in sandy or marshy soil. An optional vent screen can be fitted onto the housing units. Special Perma-Post Test Station introductory kits are available.

Visi-Post test Station

The Carsonite Visi-Post Test Station offers an economical test unit with full 360^o visibility. The post is vented and has two easy access test points. Wires are concealed beneath the removable post cap.

This non-conductive post is safe, lightweight, and easy to handle and install. It will resist shattering from gunshots and extreme temperature changes.

The Visi-Post Test Station can be customized with special decals, lengths or colors to meet any application.

Reflective & Non-Reflective Letters & Numbers

Individual reflective and non-reflective letters and numbers, manufactured with the same process as Carsonite decals, are available in A.P.W.A. specified colors. Engineer grade reflective letters and numbers maximize visibility in low light conditions and provide immediate identification. All letters and numbers are reflective or non-reflective and come in four color combinations: orange on black, black on yellow, yellow on black, and black on orange.

Installation Tools

Carsonite offers a full line of installation tools specifically designed for Carsonite markers. These economical and convenient tools are easy to use and provide for quick installation. One worker can install a marker in as little as 60 seconds. Marker removal is just as easy using our specially designed Carsonite Post Puller.

Installation instructions are provided with each order and installation videos are available to conveniently train crews. Pictured are some to the most widely used installation tools. Other tools are available as required. Please contact Farwest.
