The SP-150 Copper / Copper Sulfate Reference Electrode by
Farwest is a permanent type cell designed for direct burial in soil. This
application enables the corrosion engineer to obtain potential measurements in locations
normally inaccessible to surface electrodes.
The electrode is pre-packaged in a low resistivity backfill formulated to retain moisture and maintain stability. Electrode
accuracy conforms to industry standards. Our standard reference electrode is
manufactured with 50 feet of #14 AWG stranded copper cable with RHH/RHW
(yellow) insulation. Other cable sizes, insulation types and lengths can be
specified as required.
