Product Overview
The Deepwater Polatrak® ROV II is the
world's best selling general purpose tip contact undersea CP probe for
offshore application. It was the first such probe to be manufactured with
twin elements to allow on-line calibration, eliminating time-consuming
procedures on-site, and reducing a large percentage of user error.
The ROV II easily interfaces with the ROV,
but can also be held by divers. It serves as either a tip-contact or
proximity-style probe, and if ROV operators want to avoid connection to the
umbilical, the ROV interfaces with Deepwater's Deep C Meter, providing a
self-contained, direct subsea readout, viewable on the ROV's video camera.
Like all Polatrak CP probes, the ROV II is fully field-serviceable, with
plug-in electrode elements and interchangeable components.
