I-Liner by Deepwater Corrosion Services is a new application of Deepwater’s popular I-Rod® pipe support material. Where saddle-clamp-style pipe supports are required, I-Liner is the ultimate weapon against crevice corrosion.

The liner is a composite construction, utilizing a compliant base material and housing short sections of low profile I-Rod. When installed, I-Liner also provides highly reliable electrical isolation between the clamp and support, making it ideal for riser clamps where isolation is required.

I-Liner vastly improves maintainability and inspectability. The high-strength thermoplastic material provides excellent compressive strength and it is UV stable. I-Rod also has a low friction coefficient, which reduces coating damage to piping during installation and allows free thermal movement in the longitudinal axis.

I-Liner is available in a range of options to suit specific project requirements. The proven track record of the I-Rod product ensures that this system will provide corrosion free service over the piping design life.

Since 1987, no reports of any piping corrosion problems have been made on the many hundred’s of thousands of supports protected with the I-Rod system.
