Control Panel
Features
- Null indicator panel meter (top middle)
uses rugged taut band. Cannot be damaged by extreme unbalance. Fast-critical damped
action. Good sensitivity on all ranges. Scale shows if "off balance" reading is
high or low.
- Large balance dial (bottom middle) provides
100 divisions and 10% overlap between ranges. No need to ever balance below "1"
down to 0.01 ohm. White area with black division lines around main control dial enhances
readability.
- Range switch (lower right) provides 8
ranges, from 0.01 to 100 K. Total resistance can range from 0.01 ohm to 1.1 megohm.
- Operating key (lower left) provides
positive action. In low position, null pointer will not go off scale, so approach to
balance can be seen.
- 5-way binding posts (upper right) are used
for all measurements. "P" pins are red.
- Low battery warning lamp (upper left)
indicates if battery needs replacing or recharging.
- Rugged aluminum case. Four panel screws can
easily be removed to provide access to change 12 Volt lantern battery. Weatherproof panel.
Watertight case bottom. Removable cover. "D" rings and adjustable strap for
carrying lower part - or as a neck strap. Instrument weight is less than 8 lbs.
