The PFBG-02 (BB2) battery-powered pin brazing machine suitable for larger maintenance or installation jobs, yet one person can easily carry the equipment. Weight with batteries is 50 lbs (22.8 kg).

Battery charge capacity is approximately 50 brazes with the smallest type of brazing pin. Batteries can be charged during transportation between workplaces by means of a battery charger mounted in a vehicle. When alternating between charging and brazing, it is possible to increase effective battery capacity up to 5 times during a working day. The batteries are sealed to prevent acid spill.

The control panel of the unit allows manual settings F, B and G, which correspond to an adjustment prefix stated on the package label of the brazing pin. The brazing process is electronic, therefore no fuse wire is required. It is however possible to use brazing pins with a fuse wire.
