PTC's Model 2328 and 23213-Metric are universal industrial microscopes that offer 20X and 40X magnification. Excellent optics provides a flat field of vision for using the measuring reticle. Rack and pinion makes focusing fast and easy. A MagLite® Solitaire™ flashlight delivers the illumination. The flashlight uses one size AAA battery (included with instrument).

The 2328 and 23213-Metric come ready to use with 20X magnification. Included is an extension tube that is easily used to change the magnification from 20X to 40X. To install the extension tube, grasp the top of the eyepiece cap and pull straight up. The eyepiece cap will come out attached to the eyepiece tube (a brass sleeve). Slide the extension tube over the eyepiece tube and insert back into the main barrel.

The reticle permits direct reading measurements. At a magnification of 20X, the graduations are 0.004 inch (0.1 mm metric reticle) apart; at 40X, they are 0.002 inch (.05 mm metric reticle) apart.

Versatile pocket-sized microscope for use in laboratory, shop, or field. The instrument has a flat field of view for accurate image. This microscope also features adjustable magnification for any power from 20X up to 60X. An optional battery powered light source is available as an accessory.

When the eyepiece is fully retracted, the magnification is 20X; when the eyepiece is extended to 1-3/16", the magnification is approximately 40X; when extended to its maximum height of 2-1/32", the magnification is approximately 60X. The microscope is factory set for 20X. If other magnification is desired, the microscope must be refocused after eyepiece is moved. Loosen the two setscrews and slide the chrome body up or down until the image is focused, retighten setscrews.

The Model 239 is a high quality, precision Ramsden hand lens. This low-power (6X) instrument features excellent optics: a perfectly flat field with a diameter of 3/4" (19 mm); a two element Ramsden magnifier; and relatively large distance of 3" (76 mm) between the eye and object being inspected. The Model 239 is rugged and lightweight with a durable black anodized finish. A carrying case is included with the instrument.
