MP0R USB
DUALSCOPE® USB MP0R Pocket-Size
Coating Thickness Gauge

by Fischer Technology

Automatically recognizes the substrate material such as steel or
aluminum and selects the appropriate measurement method.

Description

The Fischer DUALSCOPE® MP0R USB is designed to measure coating thickness in the corrosion and painting industries. Easy to use, two displays to see readings from every angle, statistical functions, USB interface, radio data transmission and many other features make the MP0R the ideal dry film thickness gauge for coatings professionals.

The DUALSCOPE® MP0R USB measures with the highest precision, is user-friendly and sturdy. With its integrated measurement probe, it measures the thickness of coatings quickly and non-destructively utilizing  magnetic induction or eddy current method.

The DUALSCOPE® MP0R USB automatically recognizes the substrate material such as steel or aluminum and selects the appropriate measurement method. Statistical evaluation test series are displayed: arithmetic mean value; standard deviation, number of readings, smallest and largest value of a test series. With its superior repeatability precision and standard conforming normalization and adjustment functions, the MP0R is unmatched in performance.

Ideal for Daily Use

  • Dedicated to corrosion and painting applications.

  • Measures very close at edges without any deviation.

  • Memory for up to 1,000 readings.

  • Two LCD displays allow view of readings from all angles.

  • Metric and imperial units μm/mils.

  • Datalogger and statistics functions.

  • Very compact casing with integrated probe.

  • Ready to measure immediately.

  • One-point adjustment function accommodates changes in shape or substrate material.

  • Quick one-hand operation. Place instrument on specimen and see the measured value.

  • Data transmitting to PC via radio and USB cable.

  • Easy-to-perform zero-point (normalization) when there is little changes in shape and substrate material.

  • Statistic function allows for evaluation of a measurement series according to SSPC-PA2 and IMO PSPC including display of most significant statistical values (MEAN, MIN, MAX, Standard Deviation).

  • Automatic On/Off function.

  • Durable, rugged housing and hard-material covered probe.

  • Conforms to ASTM D 7091, SSPC PA2, ISO 2178, 2360 and other standards.
