Description
Viscotaq® Coat Wrap ST
is a unique approach to solving corrosion problems.
Unlike tapes, Viscotaq is a sealing compound with 70 mil
thickness applied from a roll.

Installation
-
Clean
surface, preferably with a power brush, to SSPC-SP
2.

Degrease surface and
remove loose dust with industrial alcohol.
-
Remove white release
liner and apply adhesive part to the surface by
wrapping under tension. Maintain minimum overlap of
10% or 0.5 inch.

Apply heavy duty 20 mil
outer wrap for underground pipelines by wrapping
under tension in the direction counter to Viscotaq
Coat Wrap ST.

For soil-to-air
transitions, wrap from below ground to above ground.

Product is ready for
backfill immediately.
